Kranji Track Spy July 19

Race 2  Number 11 WIN EASY

Showed good tactical speed to lead in blistering splits on debut 61 days ago but once entering the straight, he ran out of condition inside the final 150m and faded into fourth. It turned out to be a strong form race with second place getter and third place getter both subsequently winning.

He has been freshened up since and looks to have come on based on his two eye-catching recent trials, so it will be no surprise to see him run a big race at his second time of asking.

Race 7  Number 6 ELITE CONQUEST

It pays to overlook his unplaced last start effort when he was caught wide throughout and failed to quicken in the straight. Prior to that, he had finished third and fourth behind talented gallopers MISS DUSTY and WOLF WARRIOR respectively at this track.

He resumes off two impressive trials and especially the most recent one where he won by 5.8 lengths in a fast time of 58.91 seconds, suggesting he is ready to score first-up.

Race 1  Number 6 ARCHIE

Despite travelling wide from the 700m last time out, he rattled home well to finish third over 1400m while recording the fourth fastest final 400m in 23.85 seconds. He will relish the extra distance and can make his presence felt late.

Race 4  Number 8 RIVER RADIANCE

Put the writing on the wall at his debut 49 days ago when he reeled off the best final split (22.36 sec) to finish second behind SURPASS NATURAL, who notched a double recently. He has trialled well since and looks a big winning chance second-up.
