Race 1 Number 3 Soccer Master

Produced a be-on-me-next-start run when dropping to Class 5 for the first time 15 days ago, winding up late before being held up at the 300m which cost him ground at a vital stage in the race.

Once clear, he rallied late, flashing home into third, 2 ¾ lengths astern of the winner. He should posting his first win in due course in this grade.

Race 6 Number 6 Bellagio

Overlook last start when he weakened to tenth place but pulled up lame in the left fore and instead focus on his win two starts ago. The four-year-old was having his first start for trainer Ricky Yiu that day, after five career starts with Michael Freedman in which he went winless bit always showed signs of ability.

Based on his first-up win for Yiu, he should be mighty competitive dropping back to 1400m and drawn well low.

Race 4 Number 13 High Rev

Will be much better suited at this track and distance after two eye-catching runs over 1200m at Happy Valley, posting the fastest and second fastest last 400m sectional rankings on each occasion. Last start had a ton of merit to it given the slowdown from the 800m to the 400m.

Race 9 Number 1 Packing Warrior

Suggested a win was imminent last start after he began fairly at this track and distance before flashing home in the fastest last 400m in the race (23.04 seconds) for an eye-catching second place.
