VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 3 Number 9 ROCKET STAR
Turned in an excellent debut run when he clearly should have gone close to winning after being checked at the 400m on the point of the home bend behind subsequent winner Big Hearted.
To his credit, he regained his composure and let down powerfully in the straight to be beaten a short-head, but with clear galloping room he would have more than likely won the race.
Race 9 Number 2 MISTER YEOH
Looked desperately unlucky in the Lion City Cup when he was blocked for a run for the majority of the straight behind the tiring stablemate Zac Kasa.
When he eventually saw daylight, he charged through a needle eye opening to grab 3rd place, but with a clear run at the top of the straight there is no doubt he would have tested the two horses that finished in front of him.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 5 Number 3 MAGNIFICIENT GOLD
Caught the eye flashing home last start when he charged from 13th place at the 400m to check in 7th place in a tougher race than this one. He reeled off the quickest last 400m clocking 22.84 seconds and will find the drop back to Class 4 more to his liking.
Race 10 Number 3 LIM’S MIGHTY
Produced an eye-catching first-up run when he stormed home from 5th place at the 400m mark to be beaten a head over 1200m. He reeled off the fastest final 400m (22.83 sec) of the race and looks ready to finally win a race in Singapore.
