Race 8 Number 10 Mighty Maverick

Old-timer racing in good form and backs up quickly from last week when racing wide throughout at this track and distance, not disgracing himself as he was doing his best work late only to finish 3 ¾ lengths from the winner.

He comes out of some strong Sha Tin races prior to that and looks capable of going close with a bit of luck this week.

Race 5 Number 9 Bundle Of Energy

Forget last start when he failed on a wet AWT surface and instead focus on his consistent form prior at this track and distance. Last start here he closed off powerfully into third off a very slow early speed, so there was a lot of merit to his run, and at this start prior he was poorly ridden but finished an okay sixth.

He looks capable of winning a race soon but just needs a bit of luck in running with the race shape to suit.

Race 3 Number 4 Family Leader

Backs up from a good run last week when finishing strongly into third while posting the second best last 400m of the race (23.74 seconds). He is unknown at the distance but is lightly-raced and is capable of further improvement.

Race 5 Number 3 Perfect To Play

At three of his last starts, he has produced the fastest closing splits of the race, and in an open looking Class 4 contest, he stands out as one of the leading chances.
