Race 2 Number 1 E Star
Put the pen through his last start 14th place when tailing off to finish last, beaten 18 ¼ lengths but pulled up with an irregular heart rhytyhm. Prior to that he scored at big odds in a handy form race over this distance at Sha Tin and that performance bodes well in a race like this.
Betting may tell the tale here but it was hard not to like his trial leading into this and he appears better than Class 4 company in time.
Race 4 Number 12 Captain Boss
Had genuine excuses last start when finishing a luckless sixth place after the bit commenced to pull through the mouth after the 600m and the bridle shifting accordingly. Thereafter, the jockey was not able to test Captain Boss at any stage in the straight, however he still finished hard and fast to post the best last two furlongs of the race and was only beaten three lengths.
He has since trialled well and in an open looking Class 4 1200m contest, he looks capable of being in the money this week.

Race 3 Number 6 My Ally
Rises to what appears to be a suitable distance after a few runs over 1200m where, most recently, he checked home a visually disappointing seventh but recorded the second best last 400m of the race which had ample merit to it.
Race 8 Number 2 Super Turbo
Strikes a race where at least half the field like to settle handy or lead which could mean enough pace injected for him to fly over the top late based on past efforts where iRace’s 400m sectional rankings show his runs were good.
