VIDEO REPLAY STARS
Race 1 Number 1 AABIR
It pays to overlook his last start unplaced effort on turf, instead focusing on his close second at this track two starts ago when he gave a bold sight and was caught on the wire by FLAUNT who was a recent place getter in Class 4.
The switch back to the Polytrack should suit him ideally and he appears hard to run down making his Class 5 debut under the new ratings band.
Race 7 Number 1 MIGHTY EMPEROR
Put the writing on the wall dropping to Class 4 last time out when he settled on speed under fast splits before fighting bravely in the straight to miss by a short head over 1800m at this track.
He boasts an impressive record of four wins and three placings from eight attempts in this class, so he must be rated a big winning chance remaining in the same class.
SECTIONAL TIME STARS
Race 4 Number 5 MONTRER
Showed big improvement after stepping up to a mile last start when he reeled off the fastest final 400m to check into second at this track. In what appears a moderate field this week, he is capable of going one place better.
Race 8 Number 2 GOLD STRIKE
Is off the back of an eye-catching first-up run where he rattled home well to finish third, clocking the best final 400m in 22.91 seconds. He has trialled well since and looks ready to score second-up.
