Race 9 Number 7 World Famous
Has had two local starts with polarizing tactics deployed on each occasion. First-up and the three-year-old looked flashy closing off hard and fast into sixth, beaten 1 ½ lengths, before going on to lead throughout second-up, feeling the pinch late after overdoing it a touch in the early stages.
Third-up this week and the drop back in distance should see him competitive in an open looking race.
Race 5 Number 7 Cordyceps
Stood no chance of making it back-to-back wins last start after setting the turf alight with well-above average early splits, +5.6 lengths above benchmark to the 600m the fastest he has posted to the that mark over this distance before.
To his credit, he stuck on well, and was only 1 ½ lengths away as the backmarkers got into it late. He’s an honest front runner who will give a good sight here.

Race 9 Number 6 Uncle Steve
Looks ready to peak this week after four sound local starts, most recently getting back early before powering home the second best (22.14s) for a ¾ length beaten margin into third.
Race 5 Number 8 Splendour And Gold
Will relish a true run race here and in each of his three career runs, he has posted the fastest last sections of the race. He takes a rise in class here but can measure up.
