Race 7 Number 3 Circuit Glory
The stewards’ report read “vet exam” last start when running out of condition late, beaten 3.5 lengths into third off the back of a win at this track and distance. However, he was asked to do too much early on, posting some of the fastest early splits of the night – a +13.2 lengths above average to the 400m – so it comes as no surprise he capitulated.
He is able to withstand a true run race, but he will need to be rated better than last start if to be in the money, however he should give backers a good run for their money.
Race 4 Number 2 Naboo Star
Gets his chance to win this week after two promising efforts at this track and distance which had their fair share of bad luck. Two starts ago he was held up at the turn which cost him the race as he missed by a half-length margin, before going to be carried wide at the turn before flashing home into third at his next start.
He has trialled well since and looks well in this week to breakthrough.

Race 4 Number 10 Yee Cheong Pegasus
Steps up in distance and is also on the quick back up after two promising runs in which he posted some above average final splits. He looks to get a conducive run from barrier 2 and could prove a value chance.
Race 3 Number 5 Nordic Warrior
Is off the back of a last start win at the Conghua Exhibition meeting but prior to that, was clocking some impressive closing sectionals. The Conghua form has held up well with subsequent winners going on with it, so he appears one to follow back at Happy Valley.
