Race 10 Number 9 Earth Trilogy
Last start he was sent around at a short quote and was visually disappointing when fading to ninth after sitting second in the running. Dissecting how the race was run, however, reveals fast early splits of a +10 lengths above average to the 600m before a detrimental six-length slow down to the 400m – so he stood no chance of letting down in the straight.
Only beaten 3 ¼ lengths suggests there was merit to the run, and his effort prior was strong enough to suggest he’s nearing a win under the right race shape.
Race 4 Number 1 Sonic Fighter
He was highlighted as one to follow back down in Class 4 two weeks ago, however he raced with plenty of excuses that day and you can put the pen through the run. In an awkward position when 10th in the running, he was badly checked at the 800m and lost considerable ground, then suffered a 5.3 length slow down from the 800m to the 400m, clocking a -11.3 length below average to the 400m.
He eventually sprinted well and posted the best ranked last 400m of the meeting, and the step up to 1400m should see him very competitive.

Race 11 Number 3 Superich
Forget last start when he severely over-raced in a small, six-horse race run at barrier trial speed and instead focus on some past efforts when he clocked some impressive final splits.
Race 9 Number 5 Honest Way
Continues to post impressive closing splits and looks a chance on being competitive again after a good last-start win. Should the likely hot favourite BIG PARTY not show up, he can surprise for the win.
