Put the writing on the wall last time out when he settled just off the speed and let down sharply in the straight to find one too good in a Kranji Stakes race.
He has been competing in much stronger races recently, so with the drop in class this week, he looks capable of opening his local winning account.

Race 3 Number 1 SPIRIT OF D’WIND
Produced an improved effort last time out when he reeled off the quickest final 400m (22.45 sec) to check into third over 1200m. He looks on song to breakthrough at his Class 5 debut.
Race 1 Number 2 STAR MERCURY
Was off the back of a solid first-up run where he clocked the second fastest final 400m in 23.49 seconds and finished fourth over 1200m. He will strip fitter second-up and the rise in trip looks ideal based on the pedigree.
