VIDEO REPLAY STARS

Race 10  Number 6 TURF PRINCESS

Threw her head up at the start which saw her give the leader a 13-length head start at the 800m.

To her credit, she still ate up the ground impressively in the straight before checking into seventh beaten under three lengths at this track and distance. She has to be rated a big winning chance dropping to Class 4 this week.

Race 2  Number 3 HUGO

From an outer alley, he was urged early to settle on speed off a fast tempo last start and fought bravely in the straight to finish fourth behind talented youngster GALVARINO.

The form has since stacked up with GOLDEN YEARS, who adopted the same racing pattern in that race, scoring at his subsequent start, so it bodes well for him this week.

SECTIONAL TIME STARS

Race 1  Number 7 BEST BAY

Showed big improvement last time out when he charged home late to finish fifth over a mile while reeling off the fastest final 400m in 23.10 seconds. Meeting a moderate Class 5 field holds him in good stead to breakthrough.

Race 8  Number 3 PAPARAZZI

Has continued to record good final sectionals recently and he finished a close third behind EYE GUY last start despite enduring a wide trip from the 700m. It will be no surprise to see him back to the winner’s circle with the drop in class.
