Kranji Track Spy – April 05

VIDEO REPLAY STARS

Race 3  Number 4 CENTURION

His last start second place finish was full of merit when he travelled three-deep throughout yet still found the line strongly beaten 1.7 lengths at this track and distance.

With better luck in running, the progressive four-year-old gelding looks capable of landing his third career win.

Race 8  Number 8 GOLDEN FLAME

Despite being poorly weighted at his last two starts in Kranji Stakes C, he finished third and fifth respectively with good final sectionals.

The consistent galloper has not been beaten more than three lengths against better horses in his past four runs, so with the drop in class this week, he can prove a big winning chance.

SECTIONAL TIME STARS

Race 5  Number 3 DOMINIC

Produced the fastest final 400m (23.36 sec) to finish seventh in a slowly run race last time out. He will appreciate the drop in class and can prove a value choice.

Race 6  Number 10 TRIPLE TRIO

Was taken back from a wide barrier before reeling off the quickest final 400m in 22.59 seconds to finish third. He is suited by the step-up in distance and appears the main danger to the obvious favourite CIRCUIT MISSION.
