Singapore Track Spy – March 24

Race 5 Number 10 MISS DUSTY

Her last start unplaced effort was better than it reads as she was involved in an early speed battle and was entitled to fade in the straight.

Promising galloper EYE GUY, who endured a similar trip as she did and weakened to eighth in that race, scored an all-the-way win last week, so with a better-timed ride, she can prove hard to run down.

Race 4 Number 7 MIKCAIPHO

Produced a huge effort last time out when he was caught wide throughout after jumping from an outer alley.

To his credit, he still sprinted well in the straight to finish fourth over 1400m in Class 4. He looks ready to run a big race at his Class 5 debut this week.

Race 6 Number 2 PIONEER STEP

Was taken back from a wide barrier last start and let down well in the straight to finish fourth beaten 1.2 lengths in a slowly run race, clocking the fastest final 400m in 22.54 seconds.

Race 1 Number 5 REALLY CAPABLE

Copped a bump shortly after the start which saw him settle further back than expected before reeling off the third fastest final 400m (23.41 sec) to finish fifth at this track and distance. A proven performer in this class who can make his presence felt late.
